Malaysia's Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) operates uCustoms for electronic import declarations. Malaysia has low import duties generally, and as an ASEAN member benefits from ATIGA zero-tariff on ASEAN goods. Port Klang and Penang are the major sea cargo hubs.

Malaysian Import Duty
Import Duty: 0–50% (most goods 0–5%). Sales and Service Tax (SST): 5–10% for sales tax; 6% service tax. No GST since 2018. ASEAN ATIGA: 0% for ASEAN-origin goods. CPTPP: reduced rates for signatory countries.
