Out-of-Charge (OOC) — What It Means
Out-of-Charge (OOC) is the customs officer's electronic order on ICEGATE that instructs the port/terminal to release goods to the importer. Without OOC, the port will not give a delivery order. After OOC:
- Importer presents OOC + duty payment receipt to port authority
- Port issues Delivery Order (DO)
- Goods can be collected from the terminal or CFS
- Port storage and demurrage charges stop accruing once goods are lifted
